Methods of Preparation & Administration

To treat fever in infants/toddlers:

  1. Boil the roots in water.
  2. Bathe the infant/toddler. Note: Treatment should be done in the morning.

To treat toothache:
         Using flowers:

  1. Put the flower directly into the hole of the broken/affected teeth and chew. The patient must be able to taste the flower's minty flaver.
  2. Have the patient spit out the macerated flower when the flower no longer tastes minty.
    Using  roots:
  3. Boil the roots water.
  4. Have the patient drink the concoction.

To treat convulsion:

  1. Pound the leaves and mix with coconut oil.
  2. Put the leaves with lana(coconut oil) onto the patient's forehead for half day.
