Methods of Preparation & Administration
To treat skin infection (tinea versicolor/ringworm):
- Heat the leaves by passing them over a flame.
- Rub them onto the infected area of the skin.
To treat cough:
- Heat the leaves by passing them over a flame.
- Crush/squeeze the leaves to obtain extracts.
- Rub the extracts all over the patient’s body.
To treat paralysis:
- Crush nabin tambisan, kufilbut, and native ginger.
- Combine the crushed plants, add a small amount of salt, and wrap them together in a banana leaf.
- Heat the banana leaf with the plants, unwrap, and massage the combined plants onto the paralyzed body part.
- Accordingly, effects will be seen after three (3) days.
